Ack, sorry I haven't been updating on Lawless recently; I've been very busy with college apps since I'm doing ED (Nov. 1 is the deadline...eek!)
I've therefore decided to focus on one manga for a while, and I've chosen DURIAN because it's going to be my senior exhibition project. Plz redirect your attention to that for now (in my Links) until I manage to free up some time from this utter slavery we call the senior year.
I'd like to request that when you rate a page, please ADD A COMMENT! I know it's tedious, but especially when given 3 and lower, I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong and how I should improve! Please don't just randomly rate pages *lol*...
Durian is the product of: 1)No digital app like Paintshop = no screentones + 2) My preference for shounen stuff. Much messier since I don't bother to devote as much time to each page as Lawless, so it's not very detailed, but check it out anyway PLZZZ! It's simply a practice in shounen artstyles and storytelling, and, since it's quicker to draw, will probably be updated more frequently.
So obviously, YES, I got in touch with the scanner. It was so outdated and infested that each page took a half hour to scan. So bow down before my pathetic lack of life *pats self on back*

Gah, I'm soo sorry I forgot to tell everyone that I'm in China right now WITHOUT a freaking scanner and won't be back till Sept. 09! *bangs head* I'm hoping to get in contact with a friend who has a scanner, but I can only go once since he's far away, and it's no use because I don't have Paintshop or whatever, the only thing I can sorta use (too poor for Photoshop). If I do get the scanner, I'll think I'll just put up one more page before I leave for the States, but it'll be rough and ugly without Paintshop, so you'll have to forgive me for now. I am, however, working on a side manga that is very shounen and won't use screentones (or at least, very minimal - like, one shade) and if I find a scanner, I'll put up the comic online and give the link here....so pay attention, I'm crossing my fingers for that scanner and will hopefully be able to actually add something useful in my next post. So sorry to everyone, I should've waited until after my vacation to put Lawless up *feels really stupid*
After twiddling my thumbs for keenspace (comicgenesis now) to reply and drunkduck to get itself back on its feet again, I've decided to just GET IT UP and thusly went with SmackJeeves. Gomen that the pages are so messy - I don't take much care with the manga (*winces*) and just sloppily doodle the pages in my sketchbook. When I modify it in Paintshop on my laptop it looks alright, but when I change computers the black-white gradation is total crap...*sigh* Do feed me though (critiques are very welcome) - wannabe mangaka are always starving... =^^-
